This, the third edition, includes all of the information contained in the previous editions plus major additions to the knowledge of the expansion of the Middagh family throughout the USA and Canada. However, it differs from the second edition in that ancestral data, fully footnoted, on several maternal lines is included. While this edition of the family history follows the pattern of the two previous editions in that the narrative is not footnoted (except for the maternal lines), there is a supplement entitled “Bibliography” that is essentially nothing more than a Descendant’s Chart that is fully footnoted. A reader has access to all of the footnotes pertaining to an individual by referring to the Bibliography, going to the RIN of the individual and there find all of the footnotes pertaining to that individual.
